Search Options
You can search for data in Kaduu in two different ways:
- In "simple mode".
- In "Expert Mode
The simple mode allows only very limited search operators and is used to get a quick overview. For individual queries, you should always choose the Expert mode.
You can select the mode in the top left corner of the menu (1). As soon as you enter a search term like "domain" or "domain.com", Kaduu displays the results (2). You can then click on the respective data type to display the details below.
All results can be downloaded directly from the dashboard (3). Since certain queries are also live, these take longer. You will see this displayed accordingly (4).
Simple Mode Details
By default the "search everywhere" is enabled in simple mode. Please note that even though it says "everywhere", Kaduu doesnt look in all modules. Some modules like credit cards for example are only available in expert mode. As an alternative you can also search directly within the specific modules by using the dropdown menu inside the simple search:
Simple Mode Tips
In this example we look for the word "kaduu" without the top level domain ".io". You will notice that you have results where Kaduu appears as part of the name in the email (1). Kaduu could also appear in the passwords, in leaks as a company name etc. On the other hand you won't discover any emails (2), since Kaduu is missing the ".io" and is not written as "kaduu.io". If you would look for "kaduu.io" instead of "kaduu", you would not discover leaks where only the company name appears without the TLD.
