There are several cyber security risks associated with using social media for employees, including:

  * Reputation damage to the company.

===== Why is it bad for anyone to expose too much information on social media? =====


Exposing too much information on social media can lead to several security and privacy risks, including:

  * Identity theft: Personal information such as full name, address, birthdate, and other identifying details can be used to steal someone's identity.
  * Scams and fraud: Scammers and hackers can use personal information obtained from social media profiles to carry out phishing scams and other fraudulent activities.
  * Loss of control over personal information: Social media companies can use or sell personal information, and it can be accessed by third-party advertisers or hackers.
  * Decreased privacy: Once information is posted on social media, it is no longer under the control of the user and can be seen by anyone, including employers, friends, and even strangers.
  * Negative impact on reputation: Posting inappropriate or sensitive information on social media can harm a person's reputation and professional standing.

In short, limiting the amount of personal information shared on social media can help protect one's security, privacy, and reputation.

===== How does social media monitoring work in Kaduu? =====

On the dashboard you can search social networks in live mode. Currently only Twitter, Youtube and Reddit are supported. It may take up to a few minutes to get the results, as we will be requesting external services.

You can search for any text string in real-time mode and get the according preview for your search:

===== What can you look for? =====

You could setup alerts for exposed people in your organisation like the CEO's name or CFO. This way you would detect if anyone sets up a spoofed profile or tries to damage the organisation's reputation.

===== Automatic Text Analysis =====

By using special search operators, you can have the text analyzed. For example, if you search for "sbb.ch :(" it will only display negative social media posts related to the search term:
